While working with my all-boys class on the simple past and past continuous and in order to explain the difference, suddenly drew out a comic on the white board.

The “ahas” in the class convinced me to get the story off the white board and here onto the website. So check out this new page of comics and fun little images you can use for story telling and explaining a thing or two about grammar in your own classes. Many of these images can be found elsewhere on the website but are used here for story telling.

These may be given to the students individually or as groups and they may work that way as well. Have them fill in dialogue, tell or write stories based on the images as homework or as a fast paced speaking activity in class.
