Comics: I was working with my all-boys class on the simple past and past continuous and in order to explain the difference, suddenly drew out a comic on the white board. The ahas in the class convinced me to get the story off the white board and here onto the website. So check out this new page of comics and fun little images you can use for story telling and explaining a thing or two about grammar in your own classes.

Vocabulary: Take a gander at the myriad of new vocabulary terms available this month. The new terms here are: Gander, etc., add, cheat, cry, ride, laugh, guess, sweep, vexed, cock, gander, abhor, myriad, diarrhea, diuretic, wait, sit, drink, throw and catch. It’s a bit of a mix but most of them can be found in basic verbs. I didn’t have as many as I would like this month but there are more coming next month! I promise!
